About the project

The EmoSovo project is funded by the Erasmus + Program, Action 2: Partnership for Cooperation.

The beneficiaries of the Erasmus + European Union project is service sector. There are two organisations from service sector in this project the San Cebrián Foundation Group from Spain together with the Polish entity – PSONI.

The project is developed between Emociónate Radio, the inclusive radio station of Spanish Fundación San Cebrián, and Radio SoVo, the inclusive radio station of the Polish entity PSONI.

It is called the EmoSovo Project, formed by overlapping the names of Emocionate Radio – a Spanish station and Radio SoVo – a station of the Polish entity. It consists of starting an inclusive radio between the San Cebrián Foundation Group and PSONI  with the aim of improving the digital skills and competencies of people with intellectual disabilities who are part of two radio stations. In addition, the project seeks cultural exchange between the two countries and the strengthening of motivation to gain knowledge on issues related to radio and culture.

The project lasts almost one year and has several activities, including:

  • online broadcasts with the theme of Easter.
  • live and online meetings to discuss project implementation.
  • meetings in Warsaw and Palencia of two groups of journalists, aimed at getting to know the radio in each city and learning about the culture of the partner country.
  • disseminating the idea of inclusive ​​radio in the environment of professionals working with people with intellectual disability.
